iSPOT
iSPOT (Individual Strategic Profiling & Opportunity Template) is the people-facing sibling in the SPOT product family. Where SPOT turns business documents into verified financial intelligence, iSPOT turns a person’s natural responses to real workplace scenarios into a structured behavioral profile — strengths, growth areas, and career direction, in a downloadable professional report.
Try it live at ispot.odela.com.my — the full assessment takes about 5–10 minutes and the report is ready in under a minute.
How it works
- Choose your path — one of five persona paths: Student & Learner, Job Seeker, Entrepreneur, Working Professional, or Graduate & Early Career.
- Answer background questions — 5–7 questions about your field, experience, skills, and goals, shaped by your chosen path.
- Respond to 6 real workplace scenarios — each presents a situation with three possible responses and a 60-second countdown. No right answers; go with your gut.
- Get your report — a downloadable behavioral profile in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
What the report contains
| Section | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Archetype | The behavioral style that best matches your responses — one of seven (Pioneer, Executor, Mobilizer, Developer, Innovator, Architect, Adapter), determined by your two strongest traits |
| Trait scores | Four behavioral dimensions — Gets Things Done (Action), Always Improving (Growth), Connects With Others (People), Plans Ahead (Strategy) — as a radar chart and score bars |
| Professional summary | A paragraph in your voice about how you tend to approach work |
| Strengths | Two cards: what you do well, and how to get even more from that strength |
| Career signals | Roles, teams, and environments where your behavioral style naturally thrives |
| Growth map | What developed looks like, plus one small step you can take now (tailored as “Your First 90 Days” for graduates) |
| Reflection prompt | A personalized question to spark your next move |
| Consistency | How strongly your responses pointed in the same direction — Strong, Moderate, or Emerging |
iSPOT and SPOT — one family, two methods
The SPOT family covers both sides of professional credibility: SPOT for business truth, iSPOT for people truth.
| Full SPOT | Micro SPOT | iSPOT | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Subject | Businesses (KYB) | Micro-enterprises | Individuals |
| Input | Audited financials, bank statements, contracts | 1 SSM doc + 3 bank statements | 6 scenario choices + background questions |
| Method | Deterministic extraction from documents | Deterministic extraction | Behavioral scoring + AI-assisted narrative |
| Output | 5-section report (A–E) | Screening snapshot | Behavioral profile: traits, archetype, career signals |
| Time | ~5–8 min | ~2–3 min | ~5–10 min |
Honest methods, honestly described: SPOT’s calculations are 100% deterministic — every number traces to an uploaded document. iSPOT works differently by design: it scores behavioral choices, and its narrative sections are AI-assisted. Both share the family philosophy — structured output, transparent scoring, no black boxes — but the methods are not the same and are never described as such.
